This is a beautiful pair of wall sconces made of a lightweight metal sometimes called "white metal." These sconces are in excellent shape and we have determined that they were made in 1926. This date was found on the switches of the wall sconces. The most unusual thing about these fixtures is they have retained the original paint color with golds/browns and blues/reds. The only new parts are the wiring, candle covers, the on/off switch and the middle brass flower that attaches them to the wall. They measure 11" long, 4 1/4" wide and protrude 6" from the wall. Since the pair comes with an on/off switch, you can keep the switch on and use your switch plate to control the light. Either way, this beautiful pair of antique wall sconces are ready to hang in that perfect spot in your home or office.
