These floral wall sconces are very unique. The sticker on the back states that they are made by Mazzolini in Cleveland, Ohio. It appears the beautiful sconces are pre 1940. The Manufacturer Sconce Wooden has retained their original colors in yellow, green, blue and gold. They are made of wood but are coated with gesso that has created a fantastic crackled surface. Gesso is the Italian word for chalk so the sconces have a chalk plaster coating over wood. The shades are included in the price. The floral fixtures measure 10" long and 4" wide, they protrude 6 1/2" from the wall (measurements do not include shades). They have been rewired and are wired with a plug for ease in hanging. These are really special!
