Our line of Designer Furniture is inspired by the designs of Chippendale, Hepplewhite and Sheraton, our tables, chairs and storage pieces are hand-crafted from the same materials popular in that era. That is when these traditional furniture makers first discovered mahogany's inherent beauty and suitability for carving. Mahogany rapidly won favour among cabinet makers due to it being very strong, long lasting and having close grained wood well suited to experimentation. Mahogany was less prone to infestation, didn't scratch, crack, or warp, didn't need varnishing, and its dark reddish colour suited the design temperament of the early Hanoverian age.
Other pieces in our collection celebrate the world's most enduring styles... an elegant mix of house furnishings from the periods of Louis XV and XVI, the French Empire, Regency, Beidermeier and more. Every piece of furnishings is constructed by hand from fine plantation-grown hardwoods, both solids and veneers. Joinery follows the methods of the old-world craftsmen who once constructed these pieces for the most discriminating of clients. Mature professionals execute carved details by hand to bring the classic design elements to life.

Shipping: FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL ITEMS ORDERED OVER $1,000! All of our Designer Furniture pieces are professionally packed, insured and shipped within two weeks (if in stock) and as soon as the payment clears. For those items that are out of stock, please allow 60 - 90 days for shipping. For those items under $1,000, we ship by the least costly method, either UPS or truck. Return Policy: When you receive your package, please check the box for obvious damage. If you notice any damage, please have the driver note it on his ticket. We almost never have any items damaged, but if you do receive your order and it is damaged, please notify us immediately upon receipt of the item and we will file a claim with the carrier. If we shipped you the wrong item, let us know and we will exchange it.
