Turducken

Bring the taste of Cajun country at its finest to your dinner table. The Turducken gives you a true Cajun dining experience that can juice up your next party or family gathering.   It is prepared with special Cajun seasoning and gives you an authentic culinary delight. The Turducken is a de-boned turkey stuffed with boneless duck breast and boneless chicken meat, completely seasoned inside and out and stuffed with layers of flavorful dressing and stuffing.  This meal has become a very popular family favorite for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meals.

For a smaller gathering we also offer the Mini-Turducken!  A Boneless Turkey Breast Stuffed with Layers of Duck, Chicken, and Creole Pork Sausage

Turducken is believed to be Cajun in origin with several cities claiming to have been the first to use this process.  Cities like New Orleans, Lafayette and Lake Charles are still avtively producing this treat.  While such elaborate layering of whole animals, also known as a farce, from the French word for "stuffing", can be documented well back into the Middle Ages of Europe.  It is clear that no one really knows where this wonderful method of preparing turkey came from - so just sit back, eat it and enjoy the dynamic taste.
